I’ve been away sick for a while, but I’m back and working on my bujo vision! I ordered a stamp making kit from Temu, which is a modern day woodblock kit. It has similar tools (much cheaper ones) and rubber instead of wood to carve. So far I’ve made this flower and leaf.

It’s very simple and easy to do, with little risk to your fingers. I assume less so than traditional wood block. My plan is to have a more consistent and easy to use bullet journal, as the ones I use now are quite haphazard in theme. While the act is a labour of love, a consistent spread would really help me focus more on the building of the data rather than the finesse of the page.
Of course, I wouldn’t abandon my more creative bullet journals! I simply want a day to day one I don’t have to build up every week. I’m hoping to make one printable so that I can simply do up more pages as I need them. All I need is to figure out Microsoft Publisher to the point where I can print A5 pages. 8 1/2 x 11 is fine for day to day but I don’t want a bujo that takes up my whole desk!
Some different coloured stamp inks are coming in the mail and I have a few different sized rollers to help get it on there if they’re too small. I don’t do anything halfway!!! Wish me luck, and let me know what you think of stamping vs. freehand in journalling.
